Giving mothers a voice and courage

Most justice frameworks end at access or outcomes. Mine begins there and handholds women through recovery.

Alvie McNair is a strategic advisor, author, and founder of Divody® Group, a collective supporting individuals navigating high-conflict divorce and custody cases.

After 12 years in the family court system herself, she transformed her lived experience into structured strategy, mentorship, and advocacy focused on court reform, mothers’ rights, domestic violence awareness, and stronger workplace policies for parents.

With 15+ years in corporate leadership and communications, Alvie bridges executive strategy with courtroom insight—equipping women and global changemakers to rebuild, influence policy, and create systems that protect families with dignity and strength.

Policy

Family court is where the justice system most often fails women due to a matrix of complexity, cost, and embedded bias. After more than a decade inside custody litigation myself, I saw how these systems unintentionally strip women of voice and agency, and victimize children caught in the crossfire. My work focuses on strengthening access to justice by equipping women to engage with legal processes effectively and identifying where policy and practice lead to preventable harm.

Funding

Family court is a critical but overlooked access-to-justice issue for women globally. My work is grounded in lived experience and focused on practical interventions that educate and empower women to prepare for court, reduce unnecessary legal fees, and stabilize their lives afterward. The long-term impact is stronger outcomes for families and reduced downstream costs to social systems.

NGO’s + Adovcates

Many justice initiatives stop at legal access, but for women in family court, access without understanding or support can have long-term devastating consequences. After navigating custody litigation for over a decade, I now translate legal processes into practical strategy and recovery pathways so women and children can survive the process and rebuild afterward. My work bridges legal access and awareness with real-world outcomes.
